Job summary

Blacklock Group is partnering with a leading private equity firm to grow its investment team focused on the Industrials sector. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and evaluating opportunities through to transaction execution and portfolio management.

We seek candidates with 2–4 years in investment banking, private equity, or similar roles, with strong financial modeling, due diligence, and the ability to present findings clearly to committees.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity or related role.
• Industrials coverage, M&A execution or private equity investing experience preferred.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including LBO modeling.
• Experience conducting due diligence and evaluating business performance.
• Strong analytical, commercial and problem‑solving capabilities with clear risk/value articulation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present to investment committees.
• Strong academic background, high attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across the Industrials sector.
• Build and maintain financial models (LBO, DCF, valuation analyses).
• Conduct financial, commercial and operational due diligence.
• Prepare investment committee memoranda and presentations.
• Support deal sourcing, industry research and relationship building.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management on growth and value initiatives.
• Monitor portfolio investments and review financial performance and plans.
• Work with senior investment professionals through the investment process.
