Job summary

Blue Bird Corporation, a leader in school bus technology, seeks a Director of Project Management, Industrialization to drive the next generation F53/F59 chassis manufacturing ramp. You will own the industrialization lifecycle, from facilities to process validation, partnering across operations, quality, supply chain and finance to ensure on-time, on-budget launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management, manufacturing launch, industrialization, operations, plant engineering, or production readiness experience.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the industrialization project plan, including facilities readiness, equipment installation, and process validation.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, quality, supply chain, HR, and external partners to execute launch readiness activities.
• Track capital project milestones, budgets, tooling readiness, and production ramp assumptions.
• Manage materials flow to ensure on-time readiness for production launch.
• Mitigate risks related to readiness, capacity, quality, delivery, safety, staffing and supplier interfaces.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on status, risks, and budget impacts.
