Job summary

GE Vernova’s Aeroderivative Industrialization internship sits at the crossroads of strategy and execution across LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100 fleets. You will help accelerate projects, develop standard work, and analyze data while collaborating with engineering, supply chain, and services teams.

The role emphasizes Lean principles, process improvement, and leadership through student activities. Location is Greenville, SC, January 2027–August 2027, US-based internship terms.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional team.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project schedules, action trackers, milestone plans, risks, and cross-functional follow-up items.
• Develop and improve standard work, operating rhythms, and governance for consistent project execution.
• Build and maintain integrated project schedules from concept to implementation.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities to speed up execution and improve decision quality.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Repair Development, Product Management, and Services teams.
• Prepare concise status updates, dashboards, and summaries communicating progress, risks, decisions, and needs.
• Support intake processes for industrialization opportunities by organizing data.
• Facilitate project reviews and cross-functional meetings with documented actions and owners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce cycle time and improve efficiency.
