Job summary

C.H. Thompson is seeking an experienced Industrial Wet Painter to join our metal finishing team in a fast-paced production setting.

The successful candidate will apply wet paint coatings to metal parts, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets customer and industry standards. Responsibilities include precise application, thickness control, routine maintenance of spray equipment, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as an industrial wet painter is required.
• Familiarity with paint mixing and spray equipment.
• Surface preparation techniques knowledge.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with coworkers and supervisors.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Apply wet paint products with adherence to customer and QMS specifications.
• Ensure proper paint thickness and uniform coverage through inspection.
• Follow standard work, training guides, and procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain spray guns, paint booths and related equipment.
• Report inconsistencies or defects in material, product, or equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and management.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
