Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is hiring two experienced Industrial Wet Painters for its Madison, WI facility. The positions are direct hire with steady hours and overtime available.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–2:00pm (Four 10-hour days). Pay: $24–$26 per hour based on experience. A sign-on bonus is offered. This is not a residential painting role; industrial/manufacturing painting experience is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial wet painting experience
• Experience with airless spray equipment
• Experience painting metal parts in manufacturing or fabrication environments
• Knowledge of primers, topcoats, and industrial coatings
• Media blasting experience
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Strong attention to safety and quality

Responsibilities

• Pre-cleaning, rinsing, and masking metal parts prior to blasting and painting
• Performing media blasting to proper surface standards
• Mixing and thinning primers and topcoats correctly
• Applying primers and topcoats using airless spray systems
• Performing stripe coats and finish touch-ups
• Monitoring and documenting quality control checkpoints
• Correcting non-compliant work to meet specifications
• Maintaining and troubleshooting spray equipment
• Working safely around industrial coatings and mechanical equipment
• Assisting or supervising junior painters as needed
• Keeping work areas clean and organized

We are hiring two experienced Industrial Wet Painters for our Madison facility. These are direct hire positions with steady hours and overtime available. We are looking for dependable professionals who take pride in quality work and can operate independently.

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday, 5:00am–2:00pm. Four 10-hour days. Overtime available daily or Fridays depending on workload.

Pay:

$24–$26 per hour based on experience. Sign-on bonus
