Job summary

Hallstar Services Corporation is hiring a Maintenance Technician in Greensboro, NC. The role focuses on welding, pipefitting, fabrication, and general maintenance of plant piping and production equipment.

You’ll split time between welding/fabrication (~70%) and mechanical maintenance (~30%), supporting daily operations and shutdown work. The position involves carbon steel and stainless steel welding, pipe installation, and fabrications, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliable equipment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Practical welding and metal-fabrication experience.
Ability to weld or qualify in carbon steel and stainless steel.
Knowledge of pipefitting fundamentals and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

Weld, pipefitting, cut, fit, and fabricate to support production equipment and piping.
Weld carbon steel and stainless piping, fittings, supports, and fabrications.
Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
Install, modify, and repair process piping and related components.
Inspect work, ensure proper fit, alignment, and workmanship.
Participate in shutdowns and plant projects as needed.
Document repairs and communicate status to maintenance leadership.
