Nutrien Kennewick Fertilizer Operations is seeking a Technician, Welder to perform welding, fabrication and piping work, plus maintenance and overhauls on process equipment.

You'll follow safety policies, work in a team, and operate mobile equipment as needed. A technical welding background and at least 2 years in industrial maintenance are preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical welding training preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance/welding experience.
• Ability to qualify to ASME BPV Code Section IX for welding carbon & stainless steel.
• Basic computer skills; SAP experience is a plus.
• Experience operating forklifts, man lifts, cranes, and scissor lifts.
• Experience with hydro testing of pressure equipment.

• Ensure safe and efficient maintenance/work practices daily.
• Welding, fabrication, and installation of piping and components.
• Perform maintenance and overhauls on equipment and heat exchangers.
• Adhere to safety policies, enter near misses, and report incidents.
• Work as part of a team and also take initiative as a self-starter.
