Job summary

Darling Ingredients Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under supervision. The role includes assisting in equipment installation, following maintenance schedules, and repairing motors, pumps, piping, and related components.

Safety and PPE rules must be followed, with regular safety meetings and possible on-call duties. Strong candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–2+ years of maintenance experience including forklift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1–2+ years of demonstrated work experience including forklift operation.
• Experience welding and piping.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing new equipment.
• Follow preventative maintenance schedule.
• Repair and install machinery such as motors and pumps; rebuild gear boxes; install piping.
