Job summary

Innovance in Minnesota is seeking a welder to perform MIG, TIG, robotic, and gas welding across varied metals and shapes. You will select electrodes, weld according to blueprints, and fabricate or repair components in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.

Applicants must read layouts, follow quality procedures, and work safely in a manufacturing environment. Pre-employment drug screen is required; standing and lifting are involved.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG/TIG welding and robotic welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow layouts.
• Adherence to written quality procedures.
• Strong safety awareness and PPE compliance.
• Ability to perform basic math and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Mark-up incorrect drawings and bills of material; submit to engineering and plan for change.
• Communicate with engineers and designers on problems regarding production tools.
• Fabricate components from blueprints and verbal instructions.
• Perform assignments in accordance with written quality procedures.
• Uses cutting torches, grinders, etc. and similar metal working equipment to complete welding projects.
• Ensure compliance to safety rules and procedures.
