As a Welder, you'll perform welding, fabrication, cutting, and repair work on scrap-processing equipment, trailers, and heavy machinery. Safety, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential to success in our recycling facility.

Qualifications

• Previous welding experience in industrial, heavy equipment, manufacturing, fabrication, or scrap yard environments.
• Ability to weld and fabricate heavy-gauge steel.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to read measurements and basic fabrication specs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, cutting, fabrication, and repair work on heavy equipment and structural components.
• Inspect equipment and metal structures for wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Repair and reinforce trailers, scrap bins, machinery, and heavy equipment attachments.
• Operate welding machines, plasma cutters, grinders, torches safely.
• Work closely with mechanics and equipment operators to identify repair needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned.
