Job summary

You will operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment, monitor quality, and assist in yard operations as needed. The position emphasizes safety, precision, and teamwork in a dynamic scrap-metal environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of multiple welding processes and safe operation of welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal parts using GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and other processes.
• Monitor the welding process to prevent overheating, warping, or distortion of material.
• Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed.
