TANN Corporation is seeking a multi-skilled Industrial Welder/Fabricator who is comfortable welding, fabricating, and insulating on custom-designed industrial equipment. This is not assembly or production welding/fab work; it's project-based work where every day is different and every weld matters.

We're looking for a hybrid-skilled technician who can weld with precision, fabricate with confidence, and insulate like a pro, working closely with engineers and project managers to execute custom solutions in high-performance environments.

What You'll Do
  • Weld: Perform MIG welding on a variety of industrial materials (carbon and stainless steel). Ensure welds meet quality, strength, and appearance standards.
  • Fabricate: Interpret complex blueprints, cut and assemble components for industrial-grade systems and structures. Fabricate, assemble, and install metal components and structures. Repair and modify existing structures and equipment as needed. Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely.
  • Insulate: Apply industrial insulation (hot, cold, acoustic) to piping, ducts, tanks, and machinery in compliance with spec.
  • Innovate: Work closely with engineers and project managers to execute custom solutions in high-performance environments.
  • Collaborate: Work alongside skilled engineers, project leaders, technicians, and operations team to support you in getting the job done.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 1-3 years of welding/fabricating experience required.
  • Proficient in MIG welding processes including MIG Pulse.
  • Familiarity with insulation materials and proper installation techniques.
  • Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, P&IDs, and layout diagrams.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and industry-specific safety standards.
  • Experience following established company operating standards and procedures, with the ability to learn and implement the TANN Way to support a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in hot or cold environments.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written work orders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-5 years of experience of direct related welding/fabricating experience preferred; 5+ years is the most ideal experience wanted.
  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator and Industrial Insulator.
  • Welding program diploma, job-related coursework, or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • OSHA 10/30 certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency with welding techniques and knowledge of metallurgy.
  • Familiarity with industrial insulation practices and materials.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and physical stamina.
