Job summary

Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Junior Operator to work in our Sabine Pass, LA location. The role operates a plant with ACF, MMF, RO, and FEDI systems, under the DuPont 12 / Cheniere shift, reporting to the O&M Manager.

This is a non-exempt position requiring good communication and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial water treatment plants, basic water chemistry knowledge, and the ability to perform lab analyses, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience operating and maintaining industrial water treatment plants (P.T, DM, RO, UF, EDI, ZLD).
• Basic water chemistry knowledge and ability to perform lab analyses.
• Experience with daily/weekly operation logs and plant safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the plant operation and keep records of operation.
• Carry out quality checks and chemistry control.
• Report abnormalities to the plant supervisor.
• Load and unload consumable chemicals.
• Load treated water into trucks and monitor output.
• Monitor filter press operation and sludge handling.
• Assist in collecting water samples and routine maintenance.
