Job summary

Apex Water and Process is hiring a Production Technician for chemical blending in industrial water treatment. You will operate production equipment, monitor processes, and ensure product quality and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and utilize a respirator during work duties.
• Lift 50 lbs and maneuver up to 700 lb drums with a drum cart.
• Follow batch formulas and production procedures to ensure precise measurements and documentation.
• Basic math and measurement skills with scales, meters and process instruments.
• Work in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving in a fast-paced setting.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively in a production team and communicate clearly with supervisors and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment for chemical manufacturing.
• Monitor process parameters to maintain product quality and safety.
• Conduct quality assurance: sampling, testing, and adjustments.
• Ensure safety protocols, PPE usage, and safety training.
• Collaborate with team and supervisors to meet production goals.
• Handle chemical processing and mixing according to formulas.
• Perform quality control testing and maintain documentation (labels, BOMs, inventories).
• Support shipping, receiving and warehouse operations, including forklift use.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and proper handling of drums/totes.
• Provide operational support and assist Plant Manager as needed.
