Job summary

H 2 O Innovation is seeking an Industrial Wastewater Mechanic in Harrison County, MS to perform maintenance and repair on wastewater treatment equipment and assist with installations. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, experience with pumps and valves, and a commitment to safety.

The successful candidate will work with plant operators, maintain records, and respond to breakdowns while adhering to safety procedures and company standards in a on-site environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial wastewater, plant maintenance, or a related mechanical field.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, blowers, and wastewater equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Basic electrical and controls knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on wastewater treatment equipment.
• Troubleshoot pumps, motors, blowers, valves, piping, and other plant equipment.
• Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues before failures occur.
• Assist with installation and modification of plant equipment and systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and operational issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Coordinate with plant operators to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe condition.

H 2 O is currently seeking an Industrial Wastewater Mechanic to join our team in Harrison County, MS .

Key Responsibilities
