Ramboll is seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineer in the Water & Wastewater Engineering Department to design industrial wastewater treatment systems and support permitting, field testing, and project execution. You will travel for field work and engage in multi-project tasks within a collaborative consulting environment.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering education, EIT preferred, and potential PE licensure. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical fields.
• EIT certification is preferred.
• On track to take PE licensure exam or existing PE licensure a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Prepare preliminary and detailed engineering design of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Conduct treatability laboratory experiments, pilot-scale testing, and field work.
• Participate in treatment plant operations and troubleshooting.
• Focus on discharge impacts on receiving water studies.
• Support wastewater and stormwater permitting efforts.
• Assist senior staff with proposals and reports.
• Monitor construction phase of projects.
• Support stormwater management programs.
• Conduct sampling events (stormwater, wastewater) at various sites.
• Perform engineering calculations and develop hydrologic/hydraulic models.
