Job summary

Ramboll is seeking an Engineer to join the Water & Wastewater Engineering Department, delivering industrial wastewater planning, design, permitting, and stormwater management for challenging projects. You will work with a global team on diverse site settings, travel may be required, and collaboration across disciplines is encouraged.

The ideal candidate holds an ABET-accredited degree, pursuing or holding a PE licensure, with strong communication, problem-solving, and CAD skills. EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical fields.
• EIT certification preferred; PE licensure a plus; on track to take PE licensure exam or existing PE licensure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing preliminary and detailed engineering design of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
• Conducting treatability laboratory experiments and pilot-scale testing.
• Participating in treatment plant operations and troubleshooting.
• Focusing on discharge impacts on receiving water studies.
• Supporting wastewater and stormwater permitting efforts.
• Assisting senior staff with proposals and reports.
• Monitoring construction phases of projects.
• Conducting sampling events (stormwater, wastewater) at various sites.
• Developing hydrologic and hydraulic models.
• Travel/field work, day and overnight (US).
