Job summary

Montgomery Rubber and Gasket is seeking a Warehouse Shop Technician in Montgomery, AL. Responsibilities include receiving shipments, stocking inventory, supporting shipping/receiving, and operating basic machinery. The role supports hose and gasket areas and requires customer-facing professionalism.

The ideal candidate, with 1–2 years in an industrial warehouse, will be detail-oriented, able to lift up to 50 lbs, and hold a valid driver’s license. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years warehouse or production experience in industrial setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Driven, self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and unload trucks.
• Stock locations and maintain neat inventory.
• Assist with physical inventory.
• Operate basic mechanical equipment and tools.
• Assist hose and gasket areas with prep work and cutting as needed.
• Interact professionally with customers at service counter or during deliveries.
• Organize and prioritize workload; move around facility on foot.
• Operate forklift upon certification.
