Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a dedicated Utility Operator to support our industrial processing and disposal operations in Bristol, CT. You will operate multiple mobile equipment, manage ash handling, and assist with tipping floor activities.

The role requires adherence to safety procedures and the ability to work on rotating day/night shifts, with opportunities for growth and a strong benefits package as part of our union-influenced structure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience operating mobile or industrial equipment preferred.
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment and follow safety procedures.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Fuel and charge equipment for effective operation.
• Load and manage ash using various types of industrial equipment.
• Supervise and observe delivery trucks hauling materials to the tipping floor.
• Safely operate front-end loaders and other mobile equipment to manage refuse and materials.
• Inspect incoming refuse, waste, and materials and determine handling and disposal processes.
• Monitor and control inbound/outbound traffic for delivery trucks.
• Perform BMW load inspections, offloading, storage, and handling per facility procedures.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on BMW handling equipment.
• Support safe, compliant, and efficient facility operations through additional duties as assigned.
