Job summary

ABB is hiring for a 2nd shift Utility role at the St. Louis Stamping Plant. The job requires operating presses, slitting, and crane functions with a strict emphasis on safety and quality. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, read blueprints, and work overtime as needed. On-site role with shift premium and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Follow ABB safety policies and PPE requirements and report injuries immediately.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-hour day.
• Operate material handling equipment and press-line equipment safely.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and inventory tags to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned functions for 8 hours per day, 5 days a week.
• Set up and clear die jams; assist in press-line setup and shutdown procedures.
• Inspect parts for burrs and defects; verify parts against blueprints.
• Maintain safe operations and report hazards or near misses promptly.
• Adhere to all procedures and complete required documentation.
