Job summary

Continental Tire the Americas, LLC is seeking a Utilities Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain utility and facility equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operations. You will document activities in SAP PM and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

The role requires an Associate degree in a technical field or 5+ years of related maintenance experience in industrial settings, with exposure to Siemens/Johnson Controls PLCs and Metasys software.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechatronics Technology, or a related technical field; OR Minimum of 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in lieu of a degree.
• Maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on utility and facility equipment.
• Ensure high equipment availability while supporting energy efficiency initiatives.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime through timely repairs.
• Identify and implement equipment improvements to enhance reliability, quality, and operational performance.
• Support facility, utility, and capital improvement projects as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Accurately document maintenance activities in SAP PM, including work order confirmations, spare parts usage, and equipment history.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and operational objectives.
• Demonstrate ownership of personal and workplace safety by following safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or behaviors.
• Ensure accurate time and attendance reporting.
