Job summary

Gutor, a leading international UPS manufacturer, seeks an Electrical Installation and Wiring Assembler in Houston to build wiring harnesses, route cables, and mount components inside UPS enclosures per schematics and safety standards.

You will perform continuity and insulation tests, ensure proper labeling and routing, and collaborate with mechanical teams to integrate electrical and mechanical work. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k) matching, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical assembly certification preferred.
• 2+ years experience in electrical wiring or assembly in industrial or power systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with hand tools, crimping tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Knowledge of NEC/OSHA electrical safety practices.
• Physical ability to handle wiring tasks in large enclosures and stand for extended periods.
• The position is not eligible for employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Install and route wiring harnesses, cables, and connectors according to schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Terminate wires using crimping, soldering, and connector assembly techniques.
• Mount electrical components such as circuit breakers, bus bars, and control panels within UPS enclosures.
• Perform continuity checks and insulation resistance tests on wiring assemblies.
• Verify proper wire labeling, routing, and termination per engineering standards.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality procedures.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Complete wiring checklists, test reports, and production documentation accurately.
• Work closely with mechanical assemblers and test technicians to integrate electrical and mechanical components.
• Communicate wiring issues or discrepancies to supervisors and engineering teams.
