Qualifications

• Certified Welding Educator- Certificate through the American Welding Society or College Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Welding.
• Minimum of two years instructional experience, preferably in a tribal or community college setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and assess courses, certificate, and degree programs.
• Supervise faculty in the Division.
• Manage Welding and Vocational Technology Facilities.

Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Experience instructing students from minoritized identities

Ability to support students through in-person and remote spheres

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Education with an endorsement in Skilled & Technical Sciences

Tools

Teaching experience
