Clopay Corporation located in Mason, Ohio, is seeking an Industrial Test Technician to advance new door systems from concept through testing. The role centers on hands‑on engineering support, data collection, and ensuring safe, organized lab operations.

You will contribute to design for manufacturing, manage the R&D lab and inventory, and prepare detailed reports and drawings documenting approaches and findings.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in technology or science.
• 4–10 years in a manufacturing company directly involved in testing and development of products.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, blueprint reading and mechanical CAD drafting.
• Welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Periodically lifts up to 75 lb and climbs ladders; forklift qualification is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in ideation and brainstorming on new products using practical knowledge and hands‑on experience.
• Test and collect data on prototypes; set up and conduct mechanical and electrical tests per procedures and document results.
• Provide hands‑on input during Design for Manufacturing reviews with Operations and the NPD team.
