Overview
An Industrial Technician will perform maintenance and repairs as scheduled or required to attain maximum productivity and functionality in plant operations. The employee in this role must have strong communication, observational, and operational skills with an unbending focus on safety.
Responsibilities
- Follow all procedures and policies regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects in a highly effective, efficient, and safe manner.
- Support high performance in a professional healthcare & hospitality laundry environment through cleanliness and infection prevention.
- Work with operations to keep equipment operating at a high level of efficiency.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing problems.
- Projects and tasks may include:
- Industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance
- Construction-type tasks (painting, patching holes, etc.)
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Electronics

Work Hours

Wage Information
- The wage is no less than $26.00 per hour. Overtime pay starts at $39.00 per hour.
- A higher rate than $26.00 may be offered; overtime rate will be calculated at 1.5x the offered hourly rate.
- Payroll period is weekly; pay period runs Sunday to Saturday and wages are issued Thursday after the end of the period.
- Rate increases and/or bonuses may be offered at the Company's discretion based on performance, skill, and tenure.
- Deductions required by law will be made; participation in certain benefit plans may involve premium deductions with preauthorization.
Work Environment
- The work environment is typical of an industrial facility with noise and vibration. Personal Protective Equipment will be required for certain tasks. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
