Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites across the United States. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, perform inspections, and ensure safety features are working properly.
The role requires ability to work at heights, travel, and operate in a safety-first environment, with on-call responsibilities and after-hours support as needed.

You’ll troubleshoot 480 3‑phase motors, address crane issues, and collaborate with clients and facility directors to meet service needs across the United States.
Education: High School Diploma required. Associate degree in Industrial Electrical and/or Mechanical Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
Experience: Minimum one (1) year of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair. Some electronic experience is desirable but not required. Prior experience with cranes is a benefit, but not required.
Other Requirements: Must have and maintain a good driving record, including a valid driver's license. Must be willing to work off the ground, work varied overtime as needed by customer, be available for on‑call as part of the service office rotation, and be able to travel and work out of town on occasion. Must be able to lift 25 lb, 50 lb, 75 lb (rarely), 100 lb (rare). Must perform frequent climbing, balancing, stooping/crouching, overhead reaching; occasional pushing, pulling, kneeling, crawling; 90 % time inside, 10 % outdoors. Be exposed to heat, cold, noise, heights. This is a safety‑sensitive position.
$22 - $48 an hour, determined by skills, location, internal equity, market data, experience, education, certifications, technical assessment score, etc.
Service technicians receive a work truck and a gas card for business use; candidates must pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
