Job summary

TankWorx + Construction Services, LLC is seeking an Estimator to develop accurate, competitive estimates for industrial tank construction, fabrication, and related projects in the Louisiana area. You will review drawings, specs, scopes of work, and cost drivers to produce defensible estimates and detailed bid packages.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction estimating, a strong understanding of API 650/620, welding, fabrication, and cost analysis, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction estimating experience in industrial tank projects.
• Experience reading drawings, specs, P&IDs, and cost data to develop estimates.
• Familiarity with API 650/620 and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to develop accurate estimates.
• Perform detailed takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Prepare bid packages with scope clarifications and assumptions.
• Coordinate with PM, engineering, fabrication, and vendors to confirm scope and hours.
• Identify risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Maintain estimating records and cost data.
