Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an Industrial and Systems Engineer to drive continuous improvement across nationwide operations.

The role focuses on time studies, labor optimization, and data-driven improvement initiatives, with frequent travel to field sites and the ability to work from Distribution Centers when travel is not required. The candidate will partner with site leadership, lead time studies, and implement engineered standards to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering preferred or equivalent
• Experience with time studies and continuous improvement methods
• Knowledge of Labor Management Systems and engineered standards
• Experience with Oracle SQL and MS Office 365
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred locations include Salt Lake City, UT; Fredericksburg, VA; Northfield, MN; Kissimmee, FL; Lakewood, WA; and San Bernardino, CA.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering preferred
• Other applicable engineering degrees considered
• Experience with time studies and continuous improvement methods
• Knowledge of Manhattan WMOS, Manhattan Active, or Blue Yonder preferred
• Labor Management, MOST, and engineered standards experience
• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong oral and written communication skills with confidence presenting to leaders
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
