Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an Industrial and Systems Engineer to drive continuous improvement across distributed operations. You will lead time studies, optimize labor, and analyze data to identify efficiency opportunities.

This role supports Labor Management Systems and engineered standards while collaborating with site leadership to implement sustainable solutions. The position requires traveling up to 75% to support field operations and to work from Distribution Centers where travel is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering preferred or related field.
• Experience with time studies and continuous improvement methods.
• Familiarity with Labor Management Systems and engineering standards.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering preferred
• Other applicable engineering degrees considered
• Experience with time studies and continuous improvement methods
• Knowledge of Manhattan WMOS, Manhattan Active, or Blue Yonder preferred
• Labor Management, MOST, and engineered standards experience
• Working knowledge of Oracle SQL and Microsoft Office 365
• Strong oral and written communication skills with confidence presenting to leaders
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job‑related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
