Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a PLC Systems Engineer in Troy, MI to design and develop control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA configuration. You will join the automation team supporting manufacturing operations for automotive clients.

You will lead implementation of control algorithms, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with facilities to ensure safe, reliable production while integrating new systems with existing machinery on a full-time onsite basis.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PLC programming with major vendors.
• Strong knowledge of IO/OT control systems and electrical systems.
• Familiar with Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP and other industrial protocols.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA system configuration.
• Develop and optimize control algorithms for machinery, equipment, and industrial processes.

Our client, an industry leader in automotive manufacturing, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting automation and control systems development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:

$35 - $40/hr. (full-time)

What's the Job?

• Design and develop control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA system configuration

What's Needed?

• Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.),

• Strong knowledge and interest in IO/OT control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems

• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
