Job summary
Manpower Group (USA) is seeking a PLC Systems Engineer for an automotive manufacturing client in Troy, MI. The role focuses on designing, programming, and commissioning PLC-based control systems, including HMI and SCADA components.
The position is on site at a major facility, with collaboration across engineering teams to troubleshoot, optimize, and validate control solutions and drive automation initiatives. Overtime opportunities may apply.
Qualifications
- Proficient in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of IO/OT control systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
Responsibilities

As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting automation and control systems development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
- Design and develop control systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA system configuration
