Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in civil/structural drafting is required.
• 8+ years in a structural designer role for large-scale buildings or industrial projects.
• 6+ years using Revit to model structural buildings.
• Experience with multi-discipline clash-detection tools such as Navisworks or Revizto.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD drawing design and producing LOD 300 packages.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate LOD 300 structural models for construction documents (notes, foundation, framing plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules).
• Coordinate structural modeling and assist with utility routing across disciplines.
• Integrate design input from vendors into the structural model while coordinating with other disciplines
• Collaborate with BIM/CAD support using Navisworks, Revizto, and 3D laser-scanned point clouds for routing and clash detection
• Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and work additional hours when needed to deliver quality results.
