Job summary

COA Network Inc. in Wichita, KS is seeking an AutoCAD Drafter to support our Industrial/Energy team. You will draft and update drawings, apply redlines, and assist engineers on refinery, fertilizer, and terminal projects.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years with AutoCAD, Revit, and SDS2, plus hands-on structural design experience with steel and concrete. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in drafting or related field.
• 1–3+ years of experience with Autodesk products.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Hands-on Revit experience on actual projects is highly important; classroom or academic-only experience will not meet the requirement.
• Structural design experience – steel and concrete structures in commercial and industrial facilities.
• Experience with SDS2 is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Compliance with client drug and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide drafting support to engineers and designers.
• Create and update drawings based on direction and input from engineers and designers.
• Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings.
• Assist project teams in meeting client expectations, quality standards, and project schedules.
