Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5–8 years of structural engineering experience in heavy industrial environments (industrial, refinery, petrochemical, power generation).
• PE license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Experience designing steel and concrete structures for industrial facilities (refineries, chemical plants, manufacturing).
• Knowledge of retrofit, expansion, and brownfield industrial projects.
• Strong project coordination and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural steel and reinforced concrete systems for industrial facilities.
• Develop engineering calculations, analyses, and technical reports.
• Perform seismic evaluations and design per codes and standards.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and BIM/CAD design groups.
• Conduct site visits and structural assessments as required.
• Support construction activities with RFIs and submittals; provide technical guidance.
