Job summary

IDOM USA is seeking a senior structural engineer/project manager to lead industrial projects from Atlanta, GA or Minneapolis, MN, with some travel. The role emphasizes client service, design of steel/concrete structures, and cross-functional leadership in a multi-disciplinary environment.

The position requires a PE, ABET-accredited degree, 10+ years of experience, and fluency with relevant codes. The company offers growth toward leadership roles and flexible work arrangements.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil/structural engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years in industrial structural design and/or project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Familiar with ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, ACI codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and perform engineering calculations, prepare specifications and technical reports, develop design details for industrial structures.
• Maintain project schedule, scope, profitability, and other project management functions.
• Assist business development by identifying client needs and defining scope of work for proposals.
• Coordinate effectively with other departments for multi-discipline projects.
• Maintain and expand client relationships.
