Job summary

Homeland Talent Solutions is partnering with a global engineering and technology organization to hire multiple Structural Engineers to join a growing Structural Engineering team on highly specialized projects. The Structural Engineer will support industrial, R&D, testing, and mission-critical facilities with strong engineering fundamentals.

The long-term work location is in Tullahoma, Tennessee, with a 6-month contract-to-hire path and onsite presence expected after conversion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of professional structural design engineering experience.
• Experience with structural analysis, calculations, and design.
• Familiarity with STAAD or similar FEA tools and industry codes.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, calculations, and design for complex industrial projects.
• Develop loads, evaluate forces and member capacities.
• Design and analyze steel, foundations, platforms, and supports.
• Prepare detailed calculation packages and drawings.
• Utilize STAAD or comparable software and perform hand calculations.
• Collaborate with designers to translate calculations into models and docs.
• Review drawings and BIM models for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and civil teams.
• Provide engineering support during construction and field activities.
• Take ownership of assigned work and communicate decisions clearly.
