Qualifications

• Experience as Industrial Spray Painter or Commercial Spray Painter.
• Proficient with airless spray equipment.
• Knowledge of coatings and application techniques.
• Ability to read product specs and mix coating materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Comfortable in industrial environments and at heights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by sanding, grinding, pressure washing, cleaning, and masking.
• Set up, operate, and maintain airless and conventional spray equipment.
• Apply primers, epoxies, urethanes, and protective coatings.
• Ensure proper coating thickness and finish quality per specifications.
• Inspect work and perform touch-ups to meet standards.
• Maintain spray equipment and follow safety procedures.

Position Summary

As an Industrial Spray Painter, you'll apply industrial coatings using professional spray equipment to protect and enhance commercial and industrial structures. Working on a variety of challenging projects, you'll play an important role in ensuring coatings are applied safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. This position is ideal for experienced painters who enjoy working with advanced spray equipment and are committed to producing exceptional finishes while maintaining a safe and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, grinding, pressure washing, cleaning, and masking.
• Set up, operate, and maintain airless and conventional spray equipment.
• Apply primers, industrial paints, epoxies, urethanes, and specialty protective coatings.
• Ensure proper coating thickness, coverage, and finish quality according to project specifications.
• Inspect completed work and make necessary touch-ups to meet company quality standards.
• Maintain spray equipment, hoses, pumps, and related tools.
• Follow OSHA regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and company safety procedures.
• Work safely on ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms.
• Collaborate with supervisors and crew members to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Industrial Spray Painter or Commercial Spray Painter preferred.
• Proficiency operating airless spray equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial coatings and application techniques.
• Experience reading product specifications and mixing coating materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments and at varying heights.
• Must be clean shaven for respirator compliance when required.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smartphone required for timekeeping and company communication.
