PALFINGER North America in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking an Industrial Spray Finishing Technician to turn raw metal into show-quality finishes on large truck bodies, assemblies, and components. You will review work orders, prepare surfaces, and operate spray equipment in a booth, ensuring precise primers and topcoats with proper film build and cosmetic quality.

Join a collaborative crew reporting to the Production Supervisor for steady shifts, safety-first procedures, and documented workmanship.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior industrial painting experience is a plus.
• Self-starter comfortable with repetitive work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in a spray/paint booth while wearing a respirator.
• Stamina to work a full shift in hot or cold conditions and meet physical demands.

Responsabilidades

• Mix paints and coatings to production standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Sand, prep, and clean parts to ensure proper adhesion and a smooth, consistent finish.
• Operate spray guns to apply primers and topcoats to truck bodies, assemblies, and components.
• Deliver a cosmetically appealing, durable finish on large vehicle bodies.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
