Job summary

AWS Global Sales seeks a senior SA for Engineering, Construction, Real Estate, and Transportation (ECRT) to lead architectural direction and advisory for major US operators. Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead architectural discussions with customers.
• Experience delivering PoCs and prototypes in customer environments.
• Experience with IaC tools such as CDK or Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Build working prototypes in customer non-production sandbox environments using AI-augmented tools to validate architectural recommendations and accelerate adoption.
• Develop PoCs for digital twins, fleet IoT, predictive maintenance, and agentic AI to validate approaches.
• Deploy infrastructure using IaC in customer sandboxes, demonstrating scalability and security patterns.
• Apply GenAI and agentic systems to solve customer problems.
• Frame and resolve technical trade-offs with clear recommendations and alternatives.
• Make cross-cutting architectural decisions ensuring coherence across systems and teams.
• Diagnose resilience, failover, scaling, and security issues in industrial IoT contexts.
• Own architectural decisions and the consequences with the customer.
• Stay engaged through implementation to ensure architecture holds in real environments.
