Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Technician in Dallas, TX. This role supports the flow of electrical equipment and materials, ensuring accurate receiving, packing, staging, and shipping, while maintaining organized records and a safe work environment.

You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks, verify documents against purchase orders, and support inventory audits. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a heavy industrial setting, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory management.
• Forklift certification or ability to become certified; pallet jacks/overhead cranes preferred.
• Basic computer and tablet skills for record entry.
• Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Shipping: prepare shipments, select container, and pack items safely.
• Receiving: unload materials, verify against POs, process returns.
• Inspection: check for damage and record shortages.
• Documentation: complete bills of lading and packing slips.
• Inventory: manage locations in the inventory system; enter transactions.
• Material handling: operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, cranes; inspect equipment.
• Staging: wrap and stage equipment for pickup; keep areas clean.
• Safety & compliance: follow policies and PPE requirements.
• Support: assist warehouse audits and other duties.
