Job summary

Rohner Finishing Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Designer to create and refine sheet metal components and assemblies for industrial finishing systems. You will produce 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant design experience, with an Associate's or Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• Industrial/Mechanical design experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Working knowledge of sheet metal design and manufacturability considerations.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and docs.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sheet metal components, assemblies, and weldments.
• Create drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
• Use AutoCAD and Inventor to build 2D/3D models.
• Review designs for manufacturability, cost, and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and manufacturing.
• Update designs per feedback and changes across the project lifecycle.
