Job summary

Anchor Insulation, part of the Installed Building Products family, is hiring an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator in Rhode Island. You will operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture tactical and protective textile products, following patterns, drawings, and work orders.

Candidates need at least 3 years of industrial sewing experience, the ability to handle heavy-duty materials, read instructions, and maintain quality. The role requires teamwork to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional industrial sewing experience.
• Ability to read and follow production instructions and sewing patterns.
• Experience working with heavy-duty materials such as composite glass cloths, nylon webbing, hook & loop, zippers, and stainless-steel fasteners.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture tactical and protective textile products.
• Sew heavy-duty materials and operate specialty equipment such as hot knives and bar tack machines.
• Follow work orders, patterns, drawings, and instructions to produce accurate stitching.
• Inspect products for quality and durability, and perform routine machine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized production area and support team to meet deadlines.
