Job summary

Anchor Insulation, an IBP family company, is seeking an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our Fall River production team in MA. You will operate heavy-duty sewing equipment to manufacture tactical and protective textile products and ensure accurate stitching.

You must have at least 3 years of industrial sewing experience, read and follow work orders and patterns, perform routine maintenance, and uphold high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional industrial sewing experience.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines (single needle, walking foot, bar tack, serger, or similar equipment).
• Ability to read and follow production instructions and sewing patterns.
• Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical drawings, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture tactical and protective textile products.
• Sew heavy-duty materials including composite glass cloths, nylon webbing, hook & loop, zippers, and stainless-steel fasteners.
• Operate specialty production equipment such as hot knives, bar tack machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Follow work orders, sewing patterns, technical drawings, diagrams, and instructions.
• Produce clean, accurate, and consistent stitching while maintaining high production standards.
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality, durability, and dimensional specifications.
• Perform routine machine maintenance including thread and bobbins, needle replacement, and basic troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and organized production work area.
• Work closely with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines while maintaining quality output.
