Job summary

Bishop Lifting Products, Inc. is seeking a Sewer to operate an industrial sewing machine and fabricate synthetic slings and related materials in our Lafayette/Broussard facility.

You will contribute to on-time production while maintaining quality and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Qualified candidates will have at least one year in production, ability to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, pass background/drug checks, and be authorized to work in the United States without

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Background check, drug test, and pre-employment physical required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and repair synthetic slings and assemblies.
• Coordinate the production of orders with the Production Manager.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure items meet quality standards.
• Ensure test samples are forwarded to the Production Manager as required.
• Perform other functions as required.
