Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED.
Ability to read, follow and understand work instructions.
Interact effectively and professionally with all employees.
Ability to work independently and stay on task.
Ability to create sewing projects without a template.
Strong attention to detail.
Previous experience operating industrial sewing equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead and follow up improvement actions with cross-functional teams and monitor performance indicators.
Operate an industrial sewing machine to fabricate machine guards and protections.
Create protections by measuring and designing without templates.
Perform regular audits to identify damaged protections.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area following 5S principles.
Escalate questions to leadership.
Assist in other work as directed by Assembly Operations.
Ensure relevant manufacturing products are adequately protected to prevent damage.
