Job summary

Deployed Logix in Eugene, OR is seeking an Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to produce our line of DLX shelters and other soft goods. You will work with vinyl and durable fabrics using industrial sewing equipment to craft components that meet our high standards for quality and performance.

Key duties include preparing materials, operating single and double needle sewing machines, pattern tackers, and sergers; inspecting finished work for sizing and workmanship; and moving vinyl weighing 50–70

Qualifications

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring and handling materials.
  • Ability to safely operate different types of industrial sewing machines.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends, if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Materials: Organize, measure, and cut vinyl and other fabrics according to production specifications.
  • Operate Equipment: Work with a variety of machines including single and double needle sewing machines, pattern tackers, and 3T/5T sergers.
  • Ensure Quality: Inspect products for accuracy, proper sizing, and overall workmanship to meet company standards.
  • Handle Materials: Move and position vinyl materials weighing 50-70 lbs throughout the production process.
  • Maintain Safety & Cleanliness: Follow all safety protocols, use required PPE, and keep workspace organized and hazard-free.
  • Support Operations: Assist with basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and oiling equipment to ensure smooth daily operation.
