Overview

Responsible for safely and efficiently completing tasks related to industrial field labor, including compliance with GFL’s four core service lines: Emergency Response, Industrial and Marine Services, Facility Decontamination, and Site Remediation.

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare sites, including power washing, hydro blasting, digging, sweeping, confined space entry, and hazardous waste removal after training.
  2. Identify hazards to ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
  3. Properly wear and maintain PPE, including respirators, on HAZWOPER sites. Uniforms and PPE provided.
  4. Monitor job sites for hazards and maintain safety standards.
  5. Adapt to environmental conditions and physical demands of various projects.
  6. Work in extreme environments, including heat, cold, heights, and exposure to chemicals and loud noises.
  7. Perform physical activities such as standing, walking, crouching, using hand tools, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications
