Job summary

Blake & Pendleton Inc is seeking a Service Technician to provide maintenance and repair support across diverse industries. The role focuses on Sullair compressors and other equipment, with emphasis on safety and hands-on troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, on-call support on a rotating schedule, and ensuring service documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot 120V control circuits and motor controls up to 480V.
• Use multimeters, ampmeters and infrared meters safely.
• Read P&ID drawings and understand hydraulic/pneumatic principles.
• EPA refrigeration certifications a plus.
• Lift heavy components and work safely with tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance quarterly, semi-annual and annual.
• Accurately assess trouble calls and repair machines.
• Start-up newly installed machines.
• Coordinate with Service Coordinator and submit timesheets daily.
• Maintain a clean service truck and professional demeanor.
• Operate a company service truck and work in variable conditions.
