Job summary

Blake & Pendleton Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to provide maintenance and repair support for customers across varied industries, primarily focusing on Sullair compressed air equipment.

The role requires handling electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, following safety protocols, and working on a rotating on-call schedule. The technician will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, start up new installations, and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting 120V control circuits.
• Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair motor control circuits up to 480V (full voltage, reduced voltage, soft starters).
• Proficient with multimeters, ampmeters, and infrared meters.
• Safety training and certifications per industry requirements (OSHA, MHSA).
• Understand hydraulic and pneumatic systems; able to work with piping and tubing.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly, semi-annual and annual preventive maintenance.
• Assess trouble calls and repair machines.
• Perform start-ups on newly installed machines.
• Check in with Service Coordinator daily.
• Submit timesheets and service tickets daily.
• Wear a clean company uniform and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Maintain a clean service truck.
• Maintain physical fitness to safely perform duties.
