Job summary

Serco is seeking an Industrial Security Specialist to support a DoD customer and the F-35 Joint Program Office. You will manage security documentation, access control, and compliance activities in a secure facility environment, while coordinating with government and contractor teams.

The role emphasizes rigorous records management, reports and briefings, and maintaining Top Secret/SAP eligibility where applicable. On-site in Arlington, VA with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret security clearance.
• Active Secret clearance preferred.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SAP eligibility preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant DoD security experience.
• Master’s degree with 10 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 14 years of directly related experience may be considered in lieu of advanced education.
• Experience supporting secure facilities and classified programs.

Responsibilities

• Support industrial security activities including security documentation, records management, compliance tracking, and coordination with government and contractor personnel.
• Maintain security files, visit records, access authorization documentation, and program security trackers.
• Coordinate with government and contractor personnel to complete industrial security requirements and actions.
• Review security processes, documentation, and deliverables for completeness and compliance.
• Assist with meeting coordination, action item tracking, status reporting, and recurring security data calls.
• Identify documentation gaps and risks, and suggest process improvements to security support.
• Support administrative processes and document management within a secure facility environment.
• Prepare reports, briefings, status updates, and tracking spreadsheets for leadership and program requirements.
• Safeguard classified information per security policies and procedures.
• Contribute to successful security operations supporting the F-35 JPO mission.
